Dear Community,

Hope the sun is shining in your lives. At Solar Bankers we have been working very hard for the past weeks to improve on our offer and address the comments and concerns coming from our community. We are now ready to release a series of announcements what will shape the future of our project.

Buckle up and let’s get started!

Announcement 1: Distributed Cloud System successfully passed beta testing phase

The distributed cloud system developed by our team successfully passed the beta testing phase and will be available to the public in the coming days/weeks. As announced a few weeks ago, the distributed cloud system will allow our users to store and access their files from any of their devices without losing ownership over their data. The release of the Solar Bankers distributed cloud system will mark an important milestone for our project because it will provide a solid utility to our coin. Users will indeed be able to purchase the subscription plan to our cloud storage system with SLB coins.

Announcement 2: New Solar Bankers Website

To celebrate the release of the Solar Bankers storage system, we are renewing our website to reflect our latest updates. We expect the new website to be online in the next 2–3 weeks. Find below a teaser of what the website will look like.

Announcement 3: Welcome to the Solar Bankers Node Lite

It is with great excitement that we announce the upcoming release of a lower budget version of the Solar Bankers Node. The Solar Bankers Node Lite will offer the same components of the original Node, except for the solar panel, which will be instead an off-the-shelf 24 W solar charger. The reward for the Solar Bankers Node Lite will be 0.2 SLB/hour (instead of 0.4 SLB/hour for the original Node) and will have a price of 600 USD. Orders will open soon after the release of the new website.

Announcement 4: Solar Bankers 0.26 Wallet Release

The Solar Bankers Team is working to implement the latest update of the Skycoin wallets. The version 0.26 will reduce the Coin hour burn rate from 50 to 10% and will also offer the opportunity to purchase Solar Bankers Coins from inside the wallet. The new release of the Solar Bankers Coin wallet will be uploaded on our website in the coming weeks.

Announcement 5: New fundraiser/Initial Exchange Offering in collaboration with Pecunio

In order to effectively promote the Solar Bankers cloud storage system and to secure additional funds for the years to come, the Solar Bankers Team is planning to launch a second round of its public fundraiser. This second round will take the form of an Initial Exchange Offering (IEO), where a predefined amount of coins will be offered to exchange users before the coin is actually listed. Before launching the IEO, Solar Bankers will conduct a seed fundraiser where private discussions will take place with angel investors, VCs and family offices. Throughout this process, Solar Bankers will receive the support of Pecunio (https://pecun.io/), an experienced blockchain investment firm with a proven record of success in raising capital. At this stage, there are not set dates as to when the public fundraisers will be conducted, nor we have selected the exchanges.
