Hope the sun is shining in your life and you are doing well. We wish to start the year with a great announcement for our project and for all our community members. So, without any further ado, let’s get right into it!
Solar Bankers launches ‘Do it yourself’ (DIY) Solar Nodes
Today we are launching DIY Solar Nodes. DIY Solar Nodes enable members of the community to run a full Solar Bankers node with their personal Raspberry Pi and receive SLB coins for participating in the network. The initiative has the scope of making the network more distributed by incentivizing the participation of users that cannot or don’t want to purchase an official Solar Node. Users running DIY Solar Nodes with their Raspberry Pi will receive half of the reward offered to those running an official Solar Node (currently 0.07 SLB every 10 minutes).
How can you get started? The process is very simple. You just need to follow the steps below:
- Go to https://solarbankers.com/PaymentGateway/PaymentGateway.php and purchase a minimum of 30 USD worth of SLB coins. You can send any amount and the system will calculate automatically the equivalent in SLB. You can pay using BTC and ETH and you will receive the coins immediately in your wallet together with a confirmation of your purchase.
- Within the same day, you will also receive by email the credentials to run your DIY Solar Node.
- After receiving your credentials, follow the guide here to set up your node.
